Snow, Snow and more Snow…

First and foremost, happy birthday Pappy!!!  Today is Pappy’s birthday and Kenzie is headed out of the house with her Dad now to go see him.

 

Makenzie wanted to go out today with Papa and Uncle Steven to help shovel but not before giving me a photo op.  She was practicing poses as I went to get me camera.  If she wasn’t posing before I shot the picture, she made me retake it.  She would sing “ba ba ba ba FREEZE DANCE” and then freeze.  Uncle Steven even did it a few times too.

 

She has also been singing the infamous “Pants on the ground” song all week from American Idol.  I heard her sing it in her room while she was playing.  It was the first time I have ever heard her sing it.  I ran in there, I couldn’t catch my breath I was laughing so hard.  I asked her if she would sing it for her Dad and she said she would.  I called Jared and he hasn’t ever heard of it.  I guess “Pants on the ground”  is one of the many things she will pick up from school.  It isn’t a bad song.  As the radio station I listen to (91.9) during the day said “it actually has a good message.”  You shouldn’t be wearing your pants to the ground, hat turned sideways OR gold teeth.  You look like a “fool”.  It is just so funny to hear her sing it.  I plan to go buy one of those miniature recorders just to record her voice and post it on here.  It wont be long before all of the innocence is gone. 

 

Speaking of that, I recently went back on her blog to one year ago.  I listen to the video where she talk about Uncle Ryan and being scared of him.  How she didn’t want to give him a hug.  She also tells me to “put the camera away”.  It was so precious and it really put it into perspective for me how much time has gone by and how much she has grown.
