Making Cookies for Pappy and Uncle Wayne

Mi Mi sent me pictures of Makenzie today baking cookies. Here is what is a message about what is going on from Mi Mi:

"Kenzie was helping me make chocolate chip cookies this morning...or is it called sampling the dough? She did a really good job with the scoops and turning them out onto the silpat and baking pans. We are making them for Pappy and Uncle Wayne after they finish mowing the farm. After that job, they deserve it! "

I am going to have a mini Martha Stewart. As Makenzie would say "Her (Martha Stewart) Mi Mi's best friend".

New Bike

One of my Mothers good friends from work, Paurl, has passed down lots of items from her two girls to Makenzie since she was born. Makenzie and I appreciate it so much. We have received some really nice things!! Makenzie has gotten a lot of clothes shoes and toys. Yesterday, we got a bike. Makenzie loves it. It even has a little horn for her to blow. Mother's Day Weekend

I had the greatest Mother's Day! I got to spend the whole day with the best daughter in the whole world!!! She gave me cash (which is always a great present), earrings, and a case to hold all of my shoes. We missed out on spending the day with Oma b/c she was visiting Uncle Steven in Myrtle Beach. Uncle Steven graduated from Coastal Carolina. Congrats Uncle Steven!!!

It's Official, Makenzie's Potty Trained

Jared and I are very proud to say that Makenzie is now officially potty trained. She no longer needs to wear pull-ups durning the day "just in case". She now wears big girl underwear. She has not had an accident in over 3 weeks. As much as I wish she wasn't growing up so fast, it is nice to just have to flush the toilet versus changing a diaper.
