Nags Head 2010...

Kenzie and I went on our annual vacation to Nags Head.  We got back this weekend.  It goes by WAY to fast so next year I plan to go for two weeks.  We had such a good time.  There were a couple of rough days on the water and one day we were invaded by Jelly Fish.  By Thursday the water was clear and beautiful.  Makenzie swam like a fish while we were there.  She even got brave by Thursday and took off her floaties.  Here are a few pictures.  I will continue to add as I download them.

Uncle Steven's 27...

Sunday was Uncle Steven's birthday.  He is 27 now.  He is so special to us and a BIG part of Makenzie's life.  She adores him and he adores her.  Happy Birthday Uncle Steven!

Vacation in OC

Last week Kenzie went to OC with her Dad.  She told me all about her vacation when she got back.  She said "I went on a roller coster and it went REALLY high up in the sky.  I said hi to Jesus and then went down a big hill."  Ah, that made me tear up and made me proud.  She also told me that she went to the water park, built sand castles, went swimming and played put-put golf.   That sounds like a lot of fun to me.

Looks like a really good time to me!!  Kenzie and I leave this Saturday for Nags Head.  This will be her 5th year going.  I took her for her first time when she was 4 days.  I love traditions and Nags Head is one that I remember as a kid.  I am glad Kenzie will have these traditions also.

In School Birthday party

I am super late posting this, but here are pictures from Makenzie's birthday party at school.  I took cupcakes on her actual birthday for an after lunch snack.  Mimi, Kelly, Nathan, Madison, and Hannah joined the party too.
