New Place, New Room

Kenzie is in OC for the weekend with Mimi and Pappy.  They drove up yesterday.  I chatted with Kenzie on the phone for a bit.  She told me she had a new room in OC and that she wanted me to come see it... "but it is far far away."  I told her I needed directions and she told me "first you pass the dirty wa-duh, and den dare is clean wa-duh, den dirty wa-duh again.... Oh and dare is shiny wa-duh too, I just saw dat."  So, if any of you are interested in seeing Makenzie's room, I hope you can find the new condo by those directions.  Sounds pretty simple right?  Well, incase you can't, Mimi sent me a picture of Makenzie in her new Flip Flop room with lots of splashes of hot pink.  I am waiting for a video too. : )

How creative is Mimi?  I think she should start a business!!!  It looks amazing!!!

Thank You... How blessed/lucky am I???

First off, I got two emails last night indicating I had received donations from friends for my relay for life team.  Thank you so much Jen Kmeciak and the Tanner's.  It means so much and my team further in reaching our goal b/c of your generous donation.  Thanks for making a difference!

Secondly, I'd like to thank everyone who has helped on my house.  Well "help" isnt even the word.  Given their time, put in great effort, and went out of their way to help Kenz and I have a better home.  Here it goes, hopefully I don't leave anyone out...

Carl, Denise, & CJ Steinhauser, Thanks so much for your continued visits, advice, support and work on the house.  It means a lot and I truly appreciate your time and efforts to make my home better.

Charlie, Thanks for your time and work on the heating and air conditioning.  Your advise, time and work means a lot.

Chris and Mandy Dudley, Thank you so much for helping me move and so much more.  Chris, the floors look absolutely amazing.  I think you will have future clients calling soon.  Thanks for your time.  I know you two don't have much of it.  I appreciate you spending your extra time helping me.  Mandy, your friendship (since pre-school) is so special to me I love you, Chris, and those kids (like they were mine).  BFF, 4-ever!! And who needs men with the two of us?  We carried that furniture like a champ (even though I broke one important thing.  Mom and Dad's AC was locked on 60.  Sorry Mom and Dad, Mandy did it. ha ha j/k) lol

Ryan Jones and Chris Berry,  Thanks for giving up your time to help me.  Your expertise has helped so much.  Thanks for your hard work and time.  It means so much!!

Coop and Joey, You have done SO much and given up a lot of week nights and weekends.  Who can say they have a "custom" heating and air system?  No one!!!  Kenzie also appreciates you putting together her bed.  Thanks so much for all you've done.  You guys are good friends.

Laurie and Kenny, thank you SO much for you support.  Thanks for sending Luke Krikstan over to rid me of my bug infestation and your willingness to help me in any other way I may need.  It means so much.  I am so blessed to be apart of your life.  Also, the two of you (along with my parents) get the best grandparent ever award.  Makenzie has so much support.  Her life is going to be for the better b/c your example and love.

Greg and Becky, thanks for everything.  Your support and help makes things so much easier for me.  It is so comforting to know I have the two of you behind me and helping with anything I may need.

Granny and Grandpa, Thank you so much for building me a closet, bath room and putting in my new doors.  I have to say those are three BIG accomplishments in my house and I can look at them everyday and think of you.  You have made life so special for me.  I can't imagine life w/o the two of you.  I am so proud to be your granddaugther.  You are so special to me words could never express my gratitude for all you have done.  I feel so blessed God chose me to be your granddaughter.  How did I get so lucky?
I love you,  your FAVORITE granddaughter.  : )

Mom and Dad, I don't even know where to start.  Again, how did I get so lucky?  Because of the two of you, I will never have to "go through it" alone.  Your advice, help, support, and unconditional love is amazing.  I feel like the luckiest girl to have the two of you as parents.  You have been an amazing example and I only hope I can live up to your example of parenting.  Your hard work and advice has made my home so lovely.  I am so proud to be a home owner and w/o the two of you that wouldn't be possible.  Thank you so much for all that you have done.  I greatly appreciate it.  As I said, God has been so good to me and the two of you is a perfect example of that.
Love, your FAVORITE daughter.

Steven, my BFF, my partner in crime. ha ha  Thanks so much for taking time out of your days to go over and do the "dirty jobs" and much, much more.  Your an awesome bro.  It's just me and you and I wouldn't have it any other way.  : )  I am so thankful we have the relationship we do.  You mean a lot to me and I will always have your back.  NOBODY MESSES WITH MY LITTLE BROTHER!  I will always be here for you... to sneak out of bed in the middle of the night b/c you want your pacifier, pull the stool out of the bathroom so I could reach and grab that pacifier to give to you. Mom put it high up on your dresser, in a jar so you could see it but couldn't have it. LOL I'll never forget that.  Nobody will ever upset you if I can help it.  ha ha  Also, thanks for teaching me how to defend myself.  If you hadn't beaten me up all those times, I might not have a chance in heck at defending myself. LOL  In return you will always watch out for flying apples! ha ha ; )
I am so proud of you!  Keep working hard.  You're almost there (future Dr. Reitz)!!! Your the best little bro a girl could have!
Love, your FAVORITE sister

Kenz, you make life special for me.  There was always a missing piece in my life until the day I gave birth to you. You constantly amaze me; you are so smart and so precious. You make my life worth living and you give me a purpose to reach higher in every aspect.  I will do whatever I have to to make your life the best life!  I am so glad I was hand picked by God to be your Mommy.  Aren't I lucky???  I can't wait to watch you grow into a lovely lady in our new home.  You make it so much more special for me.  Words could never express how much I love you!!!  Thanks for helping Mommy put the medicine cabinet together.  Every morning while I am getting ready, it makes me smile!
Love your FAVORITE Mommy.

Relay for Life...

I have joined Katie Jones and Lorri Robey's relay for life.  Lorri was affected personally by Cancer and is now a survivor.  Lorri and her family are a very important piece of my life and nothing makes me more happy then to be apart of her team. I want to do whatever little bit I can to ensure they find a cure for all types of Cancer so one day no one will have to suffer.  I know we have all seen the wrath of what cancer can do or have been effected in some way.  If you would like to donate, please do so by clicking the icon on the right.  Every little bit helps and it would be greatly appreciated.  : )

Kenzie got her second hair cut Monday evening.  Autumn cut her hair for the first time when she was 2 and Monday night Autumn cut it again.  Just a little off the ends to help it grow (pictures of the actual hair cut to follow).  Here is a few pictures of Kenzie on our way home to meet Autumn for her hair cut.

Poor kid is playing with a hanger b/c of the move that's all I have in the car.

Actual Hair Cut Pictures:

I went and bought a bike.  I was riding it all through Wal-Mart. ha ha  I went with my friend Terri and she made me do it.  I was seriously shocked that I couldn't really ride anymore.  I haven't rode a bike since middle school.  Probably 11 years ago. I am so excited to ride on the trail.  A bunch of us are going to ride on Sunday morning about 11 am.  Anyone is welcome so come if you would like.  We are meeting at my house.  Here is my bike (and frozen zip lock bags in the corner... ha ha).

Yesterday I had an endoscopy to check what acid reflux had done to my insides.  Lucky, nothing was wrong so far.  I have to take TWO Nexium a day.  I have suffered since I was 20.  One day of missing a dose and it is heart burn city!  After my procedure and I recovered from sudation Kelly and I went for a walk.  Guess who came along....
Ethan!!!

Isn't he so cute?

I will add pictures of Kenzie's hair cut soon.  Momma said I could come download at her house if Comcast doesn't hurry up.

What a weekend...

Well, we moved in!  Kenz and I stayed at our new home Friday and Saturday night.  She has a new bunk bed (pictures will come later, when comcast helps me hook up my internet).  The bottom is a double and the top is a twin.  She will have plenty of room when friends come over to spend the night.  I am sleeping on a blow up matress.  My bed will be here in a few weeks.  I have to say Kenzie did very well sleeping in her own room this weekend.  I even went in her room to ask her if she wanted to sleep with me.  She told me no. LOL  She was going to sleep in her own room.  ha ha  She wasn't scared at all.  I have to admit, I was.  It's scarey being in a new place.  I did wake up to her right next to me Saturday morning.  We moved stuff all weekend long. I think I got a total of 10 hours of sleep all weekend.

Sunday I did the March of Dimes walk.  It was such a great day and I got to see a lot of my favorite people.  Dad took Kenzie to church b/c I heard there was supposed to be an electrical storm.  I thought instead of spend the day in the rain, she would rather go to Sunday school and be with Ms. Linda

Speaking of Ms. Linda, she came over to help on Saturday with the house.  She and Ms. Brenda bought Kenzie brand new curtains for her room.  They turned out very cute.  They aren't up yet in this picture.  I will get pictures up very soon though.

The following are pictures from March of Dimes...
Me and B!  You should have seen her dancing.  She always makes me smile!

Those that were able to make it...
This picture was taken at our benefit, but I wanted to add it

Last night I went to Wal-Mart to summer clothes shop for Kenz amongst other things...
Here is a picture of Kenzie this morning in one of her new outfits.  Her pose just shows you how much personality and silliness she has.  She is always making me laugh.  She is so outgoing and so very sweet.

Blogger Party

On Saturday Patty hosted a blogger party.  She had lots of delicious food.  We all had a good time.  It got me excited about hosting a blogger party at my new house.
Makenzie made a new best friend... Brandy.  She kept taking pictures of Brandy vice Brandy not wanting her too.  When we were leaving, she gave Brandy two hugs good-bye and then talked about her the whole way home, the next day too.  She wanted to know when we were going to see her again.
I love getting together with all of these ladies, it is always fun.

Kenzie, acting like a lady... ha ha  That skirt was too small.  Sorry Kenz!
The start of Kenzie pictures... Sorry Brandy, they look great though!
Ny-night Barbie
B!  One of my favorite girls!!
And I made a new friend too... She is SO sweet.  All the kids loved my Blackberry. ha ha
Until next time...

Can't wait to get together again!!!!

First Soccer Practice

Last Friday (April 9th) was Makenzie first Soccer practice.  Their team name is "Wildthings".  She wasn't too happy b/c she had to wake up from her nap to go.  There are a lot of grumpy pictures in here, I'll warn you now.  She says she will be fine this practice.  In her defense, I am the SAME way when I am woken up from a nap.  ha ha  Also, the wind was horrible.  It was very cold.  They even cut practice short b/c it was so unbareable.  Here are some pictures of her and her team mates.
