What Makenzie wants from Santa.

If you ask Makenzie what she wants from Santa this year, she will say "a dinosaur". Aiden Clements (Brent's son, Autumns nephew) came over with his dinosaur a little over a month ago and she loved it. AFTER she got over being scared of it. Ever since, she has been asking for a dinosaur. When I ask her "What else do you want Santa to bring you" she says "yots of oder sangs" (lots of other things). I think Santa is going to bring her a dinosaur. ; )

Makenzie's First Christmas Play

Makenzie in front of the Christmas tree. She was getting ready to go to Play practice at Marbury Baptist Church.
This is Makenzie in turning on our Christmas tree. Mi Mi gave us a foot pedal to turn on the tree.

2nd Generation of MWP??? : ) LOL

As we grow up and make friends, great friends, friends that go back a lifetime, we wonder if our children will grow up together some day. We wonder if they will share all of the good times we had together? I don't have to wonder anymore. This is a picture of my friends children with my child. Now I wonder if their kids grow up together? Gracie Dudley, Kenzie, Brandon Robertson, Braylon Swor

GUESS WHO GOT INTO BABY POWDER...

Makenzie peed in her bed last night so Jared had to put baby powder on her bed to soak up any pee that we didn't get up with a towel. Makenzie went into her room this afternoon and did a face plant on her bed and came up looking like this.

2007/2008

This is Makenzie last year (2007). She was so scared I could not get her to settle down. She wouldn't even let me put her next to Santa. This year we got next to Santa but (as you can tell by the look on her face, the firm grip on my shirt and me in the picture) she was NOT happy about it.

Makenzie has an ingrown toe nail AND SHE IS ONLY 2. Jared and I had to take her to see Doctor Smith yesterday b/c she had developed puss and redness around her big toe nail. Dr. Smith (we love her) prescribed Makenzie Amoxicillin and we are hoping this works so that the Pediatrist will not have to dig out Makenzie's toe nail. Makenzie says that her toe does not hurt her. She has not complained once. She has a little sinus cold as well so I am hoping the amoxicillin will knock out the cold and the infection in her toe. : )

Potty Training Funny

Makenzie did something so funny last night. I have to write it in her blog b/c I don't want to forget it. I will give you some background first. Kenz has been working on potty training and recently has done rather well with peeing on the potty. However, pooping, she does not like to do on the toilet. Jared and I get a little frustrated that she won't come tell us before she goes #2 in her diaper. So here is the story: Makenzie was playing in her room after we arrived home from our weekend in OC. I was in the living room catching up on my DVR. I heard her in her room yelling "Mommy, you mad? MOOOOMMMMY are you mad?" I told her I was not mad at all. She said "you sure you not mad Mommy." I said "I am sure". She said "O-Tay tause (b/c) I just pooped in my pu-yup (pull-up). You mad now Mommy?" I told her I was not mad just a little disappointed. I thought it was so funny that she wanted to see what kind of mood I was in before she dropped the bomb that she pooped in her diaper.
