Uncle Steven's Broken Arm...

As most of you already know, my brother broke his arm two Friday's ago at his work Christmas party.  He was arm wrestling, something he will never do again.  He has since then had surgery to fix the bone.  A plate , 12 screws and about 38 staples later he is on the road to recovery.  The doctors say he will gain full use of his arm again and that it will be stronger than ever with the plate and screws holding that bone together.  He will be back to working out in a few weeks.  Thanks everyone for your prayers.  If you have a weak stomach, no need to proceed, these pictures are graphic.

This is an x-ray of the bone.  The top left is his shoulder, the bottom right is toward his elbow.  I am sure you can find the spiral break for yourself.  :)
After surgery, in the therapists office.  You can see the bruising, staples and how massive that scar is going to be...

Christmas 2010....

Christmas was great, as always.  Kenzie didn't seem as excited as I thought she would about Santa.  She came around after awhile though.  She may have been over whelmed.

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas.

Gingerbread House....

Last night Kenzie and I attempted to make a Gingerbread house.  All I can say is, I hope we do much better next year.  O-well, it was fun while it lasted.

We went to Civista last night to check on Uncle Steven after his surgery.  Everyone please keep him in your prayers for a speedy recovery and full function of his arm again.  We all know how he likes to work out.  :)

Madisyn Elizabeth Flynn....

My cousin Michele Steinhauser came in this weekend and brought her brand new baby girl.  She was so precious and so small.  It makes me miss Makenzie being a baby SO much!  We went over to Denise and Carl's to gather with the family for the debut of the new baby.

GBDC Christmas Program...

Today was Makenzie's Christmas Program.  It was so hard to get pictures, I only got a few and they came out pretty blurry.  As alwasy, it was very cute.  Makenzie did a wonderful job, as did everyone else.

Me and my girl (who is being silly)!

Dinner with the Robey's/Jones

Monday night we went to Lorri and Mike Robey's for dinner.  Lorri made a GREAT spred. The food was so good!  We played pictionary, it was a lot of fun!  Katie and Ryan have been mine and Steven's good friends since we were small.  Mom and Lorri are very good friends too.  I am so glad we've all stayed so close.

Marbury Baptist Church Christmas Program...

Marbury had their annual children's program last night.  Makenzie was an Angel. She looked so cute up there on stage.  She did a great job singing all of the Christmas Carrol's.

Tangled...

Friday after work I took Kenzie to see TANGLED.  It was super cute and the first time I have ever got her to sit through a movie.   We shared a blue icey (our favorite).  Her eyes were glued to the screen the whole time.  She was so pleased, she wore her 3D glasses the whole way home. .
